LINK’s Veterans Emergency Shelter began in 2009 because of the growing number of homeless veterans living on the streets. This program is a partnership with the Veterans Administration Medical Center who have assisted LINK in ensuring your needs are met during your stay.

LINK provides meals, shelter and transportation during a stay at one of our homes. We are also able to offer you the opportunity to shop at LINK’s Clothing Closet, engage in support services, recreational outings, wellness sessions at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, weekly house meetings, and assistance with obtaining benefits or employment assistance. Your goals are supported throughout your stay with us. Each house has individual bedrooms and ample room to utilize computers, telephone, day courses, etc. Lastly, during your stay you will work towards accessing your own permanent housing, prior to discharge

Mesothelioma Fund: Our site offers free services for veterans and their families dealing with the cost and treatment for mesothelioma cancer. Unfortunately asbestos exposure was unavoidable for millions of veterans.

The Mesothelioma Center: Nearly one-third of annual mesothelioma cases are former service-members due to the use of asbestos in many different military applications and equipment. Not only are our information and services all free to use, but we also help veterans navigate the complicated VA claims process.
